Filipino mobile phone company Cherry Mobile will be the first ever local brand to release an Android phone with an e-ink back display through one of its latest phones slated for a December release, the Cherry Mobile Taiji.

The Cherry Mobile Taiji will be priced at PHP12,990 and has the following specs:

Cherry Mobile Taiji's e-ink back display would be perfect for those who love to read on their phones for long hours, without hurting their eyes. Plus, the e-ink display consumes very low energy, enabling you to save some battery juice, considering Taiji's quite underpowered.
There's only one phone I can think of that can go head to head with Taiji and that's the Yotaphone, which also has an e-ink display on its back. I'm also wondering what e-ink technology they have implemented on Taiji. We have yet to see how it performs.
