Electronic reading or e-reading may not be of much hype here in the Philippines, though I can see people reading novels using reading apps on their phones, and a few using Kindle or Kobo. Also there are a lot of people who still prefer to read physical books. Of course, books are very hard to replace: the smell and feel of paper fresh from print is so addictive! But the thought of bringing books (if you read a lot) to read if you are traveling seems like a bad idea. This is where e-readers come to mind. I'm not taking sides though as I both read a physical and an e-book. Best of both worlds!
